packed house...phase 2???

so last nite, we hit 20 exact for our small group. we hit over 20 before but since we amped it up and changed the organization or creating more organization to it i should say in aug/sept, we had averaged +/-15. acutally whats really wierd is that we had 14 for the last 4 times. then last nite, for the first time in months we hit 20! not that of course its about the numbers. it never is and at this point in my ministry i can truly say that. back in summer, i was definitely concerned w/ the numbers. but now...augh, so its funny, when i was concerned w/ it, we hit more than 20 a bunch of times. then we put structure to the group and started focusing on relationships, building more intimacy w/in the group and all of a sudden we're at 14...til last nite. what does all this mean???
well, for dec we have pretty much an event laid out every sat which means also that for events we consistently hit over 20. funny too bc from aug/sept the focus/vision/plan was to create intimacy, but from dec/jan the vision/plan was now to look outward and it seems as if the next phase has begun...so stay tuned for the upcoming weeks as it should be really interesting...

also on that note...
so the thurs nite group where basically it has been for those committed to the group to come out and this has been basically the leaders/helpers/the core members of the group, but this too is seeing some change...
if the sat nite group can be described as a church, the thurs nite acts more like a mid-week service where you find more intimate relationships to get to know each other on a deeper level and this too til now has been basically the 6/7 guys but this week theres 3 guys that are showing interest in coming.

and this comes on the heels of one of yesterdays points in how we really cant wrap our minds around how God behaves...:)
