this past sunday i translated for aiko holland...totally spur of the moment inspiration thing that led me to do this...but i swear...the shift has started, no has already begun and im well into it...
new hope

the messsage wouldnt you know it was on saul and david...im not narcissistic or anything but couldnt help but overlapping the two...
but what im getting out of it is commitment...
never a big fan of the word...more interested in words like love, grace, peace, the biggies, relationship, justification, salvation...but commitment? whats that? and is that why im still single...ok...enough...anyway...
so it seems as though ive been running...hiding...afraid, scared...i mean i try to justify it by looking at all the negatives, i mean look God they do this, this, that, and augh! theres no way, no way...why would i...but in the midst of this shift im in, i think hes finally caught me, or i finally allowed him to catch me...so if i can stop rebelling against the inevitable, youll see me again at nh...
sakura at the osaka castle
after the service, since its right close by and i cant believe i hadnt gone hanami this year...and i was thinking back to the ark hill days...thats where i used to work when i lived in tokyo and i worked right behind the ark hills in akasaka where they have this one street lined w/ sakura trees! now i have to hike all the way to osaka...but it was worth it...its gotta be done...and you can see everyone else in osaka was thinking the same thing

Lutheran Church in Osaka
and on our walk back trying to find the station we stumbled across this huge building w/ a cross on it! i mean how often do you come across that! here in japan, in the middle of osaka! and to think it was a lutheran church!
