exchanging their vows

...no kiss...?

the wedding was held at the church the wife goes to. it was a very simple style of service. we actually ate before the ceremony in the downstairs dining area. there was a bus, actually 2 that shuttled everyone from the school to the church. it was mostly lloyd's co-workers, the teachers at the international school. nicole and melody in the top picture being two of them. kumiko stayed w/ melody (who's actually going to visiting us in kobe soon!) and nicole lived next door in the same apt. the teachers are mostly missionaries or missionary kids and so it was interesting talking to them about their experiences as well.
the happy couple

since the wedding was in the afternoon, we headed back to our rooms for a quick snooze before dinner.
steamed kalbi...the meat just literally falls off the bone

bible study

we were then invited to jin's house for bible study. it was a simple devotional style study but it was a nice and refreshing break to see this. and now that the wedding was over, it seemed as though my body was decompressing from all the energy and hustle and cultural differences of the week and it was hard to believe that tomorrow was to our final full-day in korea...
