search for a home church

after a week of letting the dust settle from last weekend...the verdict...
i went to the morning service for kbf. their usual service is in the afternoon at 4, but they have a morning service from 10:30 and it was right on.
its been a long intense day as theres been a lot of paradigm shifts for me as i talked w/ a bunch of people this past week and especially today and i still have yet to sit down w/ the pastor and talk/chat w/ him but im scheduled to meet w/ him on thursday so i'll know more in detail as the days progress but its interesting...the whole timing of how things are elapsing.
w/ all the hurt/struggles i went through last year, i was finally able to come to grips w/ that and attend church. finally last week after a couple of months i was finally able to feel the sense of love that God has for the church. running parallel to this is the fact that i need to have a church that i regularlly attend on Sunday as part of the requirement for seminary. if seminary would have started earlier or if all those things that happened last year happened later, none of this would be happening, but for some reason, whatever happened, happened and the timing of it all was right on.
the message today talked about receiving mercy so that you can give mercy. if you're not shown mercy, you can give any. and today, i received a lot of it from the people at church and i was able to let a little bit of the hurt go today...
