the next level

so as my 2nd year here in kobe comes to an end, there are some thoughts that go through my head (as if theres any a moment when they dont...)
so we all know that small group has been put on hold to try to re-group and somehow come tues i was in withdrawal from not seeing everyone/meeting up w/ everyone/teaching/fellowshipping/talking/hanging out, but it did give me a chance to meet w/ God once again, to find/to get back to the heart of why i was doing what i was doing...somewhere along the way, i lost the joy, the passion, the heart and got into the numbers, doing the next right thing and forgot that all i wanted/want to do is to teach the bible, and the messed up part about all of it is that i was saying that, thinking that i was doing that, even judging those that werent, yet all the while it was my own heart that had lost the initial drive...i got all serious about making the motions and forgot that what started out as trying to keep up w/ God, slowly became all about me and somehow forgot to include God
so we're on break and i realized that when we start up again in sept, we will have a newly appointed leader to lead the group, we will have an "official" worship leader, we will have a prayer leader, a translation leader, an events/hospitality leader and we will see where God takes this, but in any case we have stepped to a different level from where we were in may
a question that was posed at the last meeting was - what is going to change - to which my answer was simply nothing...just that now things are being solidified, verbalized, defined where it was once merely assumed, in our minds as random thoughts
its definitely a good place to be!
