we had the party in umeda at this hawaiian restaurant called hana-dining. last year, i think its on the blog, we had it at kuaainas and someone mentioned how it just like multiplied in number this year. so yeah, we rented out the whole back portion of the restaurant. it was cool.

ok, so i lied when i wrote last week that that was going to be the last post til i get back...i just know that theres gonna be so much to write about when i get back that i just wanted to post this before i left tomorrow.
one thought...it was funny but last nite was gabas party...drinking smoking swearing dim lighting rap/hip-hop blaring just whatever right, and tonight just 24 hrs later drinking fruit juice in cancer-free air w/ ukulele in the background and not one f/s-word...funny...yet last nite was so much fun in itself, met a lot of new faces-teachers and secretaries (or counselors as theyre called at gaba) and just had a hilarious ride home w/ one of the teachers at kobe catching nearly the last train as it got delayed as someone collapsed on the platform (that's not the hilarious part) and got to hear of his stories growing up in malawi/sailing in kyushu. and tonite had a great time too catching up w/ the people at nhosaka, heard stories about the dts from asaka and found out dave/tamaki in the 2nd picture are engaged and set to get married end of june!
so all in all a very successful weekend, just warming up for the real fun to come!
see you all when i get back
matane~
