We gathered together first at Ward Starbucks to discuss strategy on how to evangelize the gospel to the Japanese already living here on the island. So that's where we started. We were intending to just evangelize in Waikiki where all the tourists are, but we looked around and saw all these Japanese couples/families at Starbucks and we couldn't wait. The adreline was pumping and we were on a mission.

After handing out tracts, being ignored, reading from a Japanese tract on the street corner, making some new friends and simply planting seeds, there was not a single person that went home disappointed that night. All of us were excited for the next chance to do this again. I emailed my good friend in Kobe about this and got her pumped up so that we can continue this on both sides of the Pacific. We learned so much from just that one night on different strategies for evangelizing, but most importantly I think all of us gained a little bit more courage on sharing the gospel to a world that so desparately needs to hear it.

Dave, that night was awesome! It took lots of courage to get out there at first to approach total strangers and share Jesus but it worked out good in the end. It was a encouraging and faith building experience-best of all it taught me to be a little bolder than before. I hope you are doing well in Japan.
