Aloha Island Club

This is it. The time, the thing I've been long waiting for to happen. And...
There were about 25 people that came out to this Japanese non-Christian college outreach event. We had games, worship, snacks, icebreakers, hula and a short message. It was what I came to Japan for, to Kobe for.
We rented out the Kobe Youth Center, a conference hall 5-minute walk from the Hankyu Rokko station.

Maria, Dan and Sarah up to their usual antics

Set up

Last minute touches

Games involved trying to find answers after looking at a 1-minute clip of a movie.

Hula led by Sharon

We had a mini-breakout session during the message.
The theme was how to find the love of your life.

All-in-all a very successful first night out. We had enough people and excitement to carry us to next week. Now with the element of food involved we'll see how it turns out. Stay tuned and keep us in your prayers!
