Today marks 40 days until Easter where we are to sacrifice something of ourselves to the Lord. For some it may be giving up eating meat, or drinking coffee; for others, it may be going on the internet or watching TV. For me, as I was sitting in service, this verse came to mind.
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking... 1 Peter 2:1
